Week 27 — V37 Goes Flat at $60K. Regime Filter Holds. Four Days of Silence.

Week 27 — V37 goes flat at $60K. Regime filter holds. Four days of silence.

The last trade closed June 23. Nothing since. BTC slid from $62,548 to $60,309 while V37 sat on the sidelines with zero open positions. That is the regime filter doing its job — blocking new entries in a declining market. The uncomfortable part is that BTC is now 22% below V37’s launch price and 10% below the average entry price of the DCA positions the bot cleared in late June. The scalper has no exposure right now. It is also not making any money. On Key’s side: four paper bots, zero trades, five days into RPA V1’s paper run.

Key takeaways

  • V37 Narrow Scalper: 35 trades, 35 wins, $3.29 realized P&L. Last trade June 23. No entries since.
  • BTC at $60,309 — down from $62,548 four days ago, down 22% from V37 launch ($77K, April 24)
  • V38 ETH Grid still parked. Last trade was May 14 — six weeks ago now.
  • Key has four paper bots running: KFGC-V8.3, RPA V1, Squeeze V2, Trend V7. All at zero trades.
  • No live capital on Key’s side. The live competition remains one-sided.

Competition start: February 18, 2026. V37 live trading started April 24, 2026. Scoreboard data as of June 27, 2026. BTC price: $60,309 (Coinbase). V37 state: 35 closed trades, 0 open positions, realized P&L +$3.29 (net of fees). V38: parked May 12, 15 closed trades, +$13.68 realized. Combined realized P&L: +$16.97. Key bots are paper-only — no live capital at risk.

V37: the bot cleared its positions and went quiet

The June 23 catch-up article ended with V37 at 35 trades and $2.65 realized P&L. In the four days since, no new trades have closed. The realized P&L is now $3.29 — that extra $0.64 came from trades on June 22 that closed after the article was written.

Bigger than the P&L update: V37 currently holds zero open positions. The DCA positions the bot had accumulated in early June — entries around $63–64K — have been closed. The bot exited them during the brief recovery window around June 22–23 when BTC was trading in the $63,400–$64,500 range. Whether those closed at profit or at a small loss depends on the specific entry prices, but the bot is now flat: no BTC held, no open orders working, just waiting.

BTC has since dropped to $60,309. If V37 had still been holding those positions, the portfolio would be in a worse spot right now. Being flat here is the better outcome. That said, being flat also means making nothing — and the regime filter is currently blocking new entries. The bot is running 6,019 cycles with no action. That is not a malfunction; it is the bear regime filter working as intended. V37 is designed to wait out sustained downtrends rather than chase entries that will just get averaged down again.

The 35-trade winning streak is intact. Every closed trade has been profitable. That record is real. The realized gains (+$3.29) are also real, and they are trivially small compared to the 22% drop in BTC since launch. The gap between those two facts is not going to close through scalp profits while BTC trends down.

V38: six weeks parked

V38’s last trade was May 14. That is six weeks ago. The bot holds some ETH from its brief run (May 7–14, 15 trades, +$13.68), and Delmar made the call to park it on May 12 before the run was even finished. No update since.

The combined Krypto realized P&L from both live bots is $16.97 on $3,646.75 deployed capital. That is a 0.47% realized return against a BTC spot price that has fallen 22% from where V37 launched. The scalper strategy never claimed it could overcome a bear market — it claimed it could capture small wins on volatility. It has done that. The portfolio math just does not work in its favour right now.

Key: four bots, zero trades, one week old

Key now has four paper bots running simultaneously. RPA V1 launched June 22 and is five days in with no trades. KFGC-V8.3 has been running since April 30 — almost two months with no trades. Squeeze V2 launched May 22, also zero. Trend V7 is also at zero.

KFGC-V8.3 has been the most watched. It is a contrarian Fear & Greed strategy: it waits for Extreme Fear readings and buys the panic. For two months, the market has been in Fear territory but apparently not at the specific thresholds or conditions KFGC needs to fire. The strategy had one successful trade in a previous paper run (covered in the June 2026 catch-up). Nothing since it was reset in late April.

Nine weeks. That is how long Krypto has been running live capital. Key still has none in the competition. Whether that is discipline or delay depends on what the paper results eventually produce, and they are still too early to say much.

What $60K means for both sides

BTC at $60,309 is a meaningful reference point. For Krypto: V37’s average DCA entry from early June was around $67,173. The bot is now flat (no open positions), so that entry price is moot — but it shows how far BTC moved against the strategy during the accumulation phase. The launch price was $77K. The bot has been running for nine weeks and BTC is 22% lower.

For Key: $60K does nothing directly since there is no live capital at risk. But if Key is planning to deploy — and the paper runs eventually need to convert to something real — then the entry environment right now is very different from April’s. Whether $60K represents a buying opportunity or a continuing slide is exactly the kind of call that separates the two strategies.

Three things that would change the picture: BTC holding $60K and recovering toward $64–65K would let V37 find new entries with tighter DCA risk. A clear regime shift would let the filter open. And any Key bot getting its first paper trade would at least confirm the strategy is capable of firing under real market conditions.

None of those have happened yet. Week 27 is a quiet week. The competition is waiting on the market.
